Oh, so that's what it looks like. This is where everything wheat comes from, friends. In the US, these poor grains are picked apart and exploited for their soft white endosperm. Which is really too bad because there are two other perfectly fine, nutritious parts of the berry to enjoy as well; the bran and the germ.
